Modern Lifestyle

This session takes place on-location and typically at the clients home. Do you have children over the age of 4 and looking for a more urban feel with an artistic flare? Take it outdoors with the Modern Lifestyle session. This is also a popular session among Seniors. Call for your phone consultation to discuss on-location possiblities. 

MY STYLE

I like to shoot in both black in white, and color. As the New York based painter Richard Cramer once told me "When color calls, obey it!" I have followed that rule since the moment I heard it in 1991.

You’ll find that I have a relaxed approach to working on location. If it’s a new location for me, I’ll want to look around at first to get a sense of the lighting and space. I like to get to know everyone a little bit at first too, so I can sense where we should go with the shoot. Let your kids focus on me. I want them to enjoy themselves. One of the things I have a lot of is patience. I promise.

A photo session doesn’t have to be stressful. Relax. I want you to enjoy your finished images, as well as the process of making them. Although I come to a shoot with certain expectations, I also come with an open mind. Just as each child is unique, so will our session be. Allow your children to enjoy spendiing time with me- as I’ll be enjoying my time with them. We’ll be creating precious memories that will be cherished for decades to come.

How do I book a photography session?

Give us a calll! it’s as simple as that. If you leave a voicemail, you’ll hear back from us by the end of the next business day. You are also welcome to leave us an e-mail by using the contact form through our website.

When’s the best time to schedule a shoot?

We typically book one month in advance. Fall sessions fill quickly due to Holiday demand. We have limited availabilty on Saturdays and are closed on Sunday.

Do you offer print packages?

Where should I have my shoot?

Not sure where you want to go? We can help you with that. It all really depends on the type of session you’re booking. We’re happy to advise on an on-location choice as the result of our session together is my first priority.

What should we wear?

We’re happy to discuss these options with you prior to meeting with you for your session. The type of photographic session you choose will play a huge part in what you should wear. Looking at the images featured on the website should give you a little bit of an idea. We tend to think rock—n-roll or relaxed, rather than Christmas dressy… although each have their place in the world :)
